Quote: Buck, Eddie and Bobby (9-1-1 season 5)

Buck: So you ran from an alpaca?

Bobby: Two alpacas, and there was no running.

Eddie and Buck sarcastically nodding their heads.

Bobby: Just get in the truck.

Eddie and Buck smiling and looking at each other.

~ Evan "Buck" Buckley, Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz and Robert "Bobby" Nash, 9-1-1 season 5 episode 2: Desperate Times

I love this scene, it's so funny how Eddie and Buck are making fun of Bobby. Scenes like this really make me miss Bobby and since he was killed off for no real reason, it's disappointing that we'll never get any more scenes with him like this.

Video: Buck thought Eddie needed a nickname (9-1-1)

I wonder why Buck was so set on giving Eddie a nickname in the 9-1-1 episode Under Pressure (season 2 episode 1)? Especially since Eddie already was his nickname. And not to mention Buck had such an attitude about it. I also wonder when did Buck finally learn that Eddie's real name was Edmundo? Since he didn't know in the beginning and thought Eddie was short for Eduardo.

Eddie Diaz and Using Signs for his Romantic Life

I always found it interesting that in 9-1-1, Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz isn't superstitious or believes in jinxes, curses, etc. However, he does on occasion believe in signs, especially in regards to his love life. I recall there being four instances when Eddie has relied on signs when making decisions about his love life. And they are:

There are two instances that involved his now late wife Shannon. First, was in the episode Merry Ex-Mas (season 2 episode 10), it was during Christmas time when Eddie was trying to decide if he wanted to let Shannon back into their son Christopher's life. At this point, Eddie had already reconnected with Shannon mainly physical but he hadn't completely let her into his life. He didn't trust her which meant he certainly wasn't ready to let her into their son's life. However, a sign changed his mind. It was when the 118 firefighters helped a soldier get to a school so he could surprise his daughter who was singing on stage. The soldier reconnected with both his daughter and wife which led to Eddie not only letting Shannon reconnect with Christopher but him also fully reconnecting with her.

Happy Thanksgiving! (+ the 9-1-1 Turkey Emergency scene)

I want to wish all my Totally Outrageous Buck and Eddie readers a very Happy Thanksgiving or if you don't celebrate, a Happy Thursday. Below is a scene from the 9-1-1 episode There Goes the Neighborhood (season 4 episode 7), where the fire fighters were called in to handle a wild turkey emergency. Poor Sunny the turkey, I wonder what caused him to start attacking people. Was he protecting his nest? Well, it was up to Buck and Eddie to catch it. And they did in a very humorous yet effective way. I do hope Sunny was simply relocated and not put down.

So, between the team dealing with treating Sunny's victims while also trying to catch him, Henrietta "Hen" Wilson was dealing with issue of her mother's unexpected arrival to town. While, Evan "Buck" Buckley was dealing with a bad date who just so happens to live in his apartment building. I just love how Captain Robert "Bobby" Nash, Howard "Chimney" Han and Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz were trying to be reassuring. But in the end, Hen and Buck were going to have to figure out their solution to their problems (even if Buck's carried over to the next episode with him annoying anyone who would listen about Albert Han and Veronica).
