Most Memorable Scene: Eddie asking Buck "Are You Hurt?" (9-1-1 season 4)

I was thinking about this scene (below) from the 9-1-1 episode Survivors (season 4 episode 14) when Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz who had been shot asked Evan "Buck" Buckley if he was hurt. When I think back to the tragedy of Eddie being shot (yet thankfully surviving), this moment should have led to Eddie and Buck getting together. I just really want to see Buck and Eddie get to have the love, happiness and romance that the other three main relationships (Henrietta "Hen" and Dr. Karen Wilson, Athena Grant and Robert "Bobby" Nash and Howard "Chimney" and Maddie Han) have had over the years.

For instance, in the first season of 9-1-1, Hen and Karen were already married and Athena and Bobby got together at the end of the season. And in the second season, Chimney and Maddie got together which now leaves Buck and Eddie. Those two have suffered through seasons of a revolving door of relationships that never work out. Meanwhile, they have an amazing chemistry and connection with each other. This show will be going into a ninth season and the Showrunner and writers continue to avoid putting Eddie and Buck together. It's just disappointing when they are everything the other is searching for in a romantic partner.
