Video: Eddie Diaz: There's Nothing Wrong With You (9-1-1)

I found this fan edit video, Eddie Diaz: There's Nothing Wrong with You by FirebirdBuckley and it's amazing. What I find so interesting about Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz is that he has such a complicated and complex history with romantic relationships. I feel like the underlying issue is his sexuality which unfortuantely the Showrunner and writers don't seem like they want to follow through with the storyline they keep trying to avoid.

What I find so interesting is that within the few romantic relationships that Eddie has had, he never seems to truly connect with the women he's with. Things start out somewhat good but then crash and burn. The only person he seems to ever truly let in is his best friend Evan "Buck" Buckley. Eddie's sexuality really should be centered in a storyline because his sexuality continues to haunt the narrative.

This fan edit does a good job of highlighting this issue because Eddie is so repressed, he mask so much of who he is instead of being the person he wants to be. Maybe I'll write a longer post about this but for now, it's this fan edit that should get the attention. It's so good.
