About this scene, I just loved seeing Eddie running over to Buck to check on him while also telling the police to contact medical for help. Meanwhile, as he's checking over Buck by cradling his head to protect him while also checking his pulse, Eddie was a little frantic in trying to get Buck to look at him. And when Buck did, Eddie response was a lot softer which lead to both of them having a little joke about their current battered and bruised appearance. I just love how boh of them are smiling at each other afterwards. They were just so happy to be back with each other and safe.
If this episode doesn't lead to Buck and Eddie eventually getting together then I don't understand what the Showrunner and writers are doing at this point? Becaue this episode Mother's Boy proved that what Eddie and Buck have is so far passed friendship. And not to mention random people in the 9-1-1 universe think they are together romantically. With the way fans have been talking about this episode, it feels like Mother's Boy might be one of best Buck and Eddie episodes. That's really cool to see.
