Also, I know this will never happen but I wish that at some point Eddie letting Shannon go would eventually lead to him realizing he has romantic feelings for his best friend Evan "Buck" Buckley. Eddie and Buck have this amazing chemistry and connection that it's impossible they haven't had a chance to go canon. It really doesn't make any sense that they have still never gone canon. At this point, it feels like the Showrunner and writers are avoiding making them canon out of spite because they don't want to listen to all the fan interest in Eddie and Buck being in a romantic relationship. Because why else would they keep putting them in relationships with random love interests than with each other.
I can't help thinking that this picture of Eddie feels like he's in a telenovela which him and his abuela both love watching. This just feels like a dramatic reveal scene where Eddie turns around and sees the ghost of Shannon smiling at him as she fades away. And as she fades away you see his son Christopher and Buck immersed in the festivities. Well, that would be way too perfect and no way the Showrunner and writers would do that. I guess, I'll just have to wait to see how this scene will turn out. Hopefully, it will lead to something good.
