Fandom Thoughts: Eddie Diaz fan edit video

The eighth season of 9-1-1 started out so well with the whimsical beenado and the slightly dramatic plane emergency. But then the Showrunner and writers started wasting time on the Hotshots storyline, evil Fire Captain Vincent Gerrard, delaying or pushing to the side Edmundo "Eddie" and Christopher Diaz's storyline, etc. Then the season got absolutely worse with the contagion storyline followed by the showrunner deciding to kill off Fire Captain Robert "Bobby" Nash for nothing more than shock value.

And to make it even more disappointing Eddie wasn't even included in that contagion storyline and he was barely in the follow up episode for Bobby's lackluster funeral. Both Peter Krause and his character Bobby deserved better than this terrible storyline. As for Eddie and Christopher, here's hoping they will have more screen time in the last two episodes of the season. Also, why is Eddie being treated like a guest or recurring character instead of the main character that he is?

Which is why as soon as I saw this amazing fan edit video by wannagoforthetitle for Eddie, I had to post it. Eddie being sidelined this season is so disappointing but this video really highlights what makes him such an interesting character. Too bad for Ryan Guzman most of his character Eddie's story this season has been happening off screen.
