Fandom: 9-1-1's Buck and Eddie won First Place in Battle of the Ships contest

Tell-Tale TV recently had a Battle of the Ships contest and Evan "Buck" Buckley and Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz from the 9-1-1 TV series were listed in the category Ship You’d Most Like to See Sail. There were three rounds and Eddie and Buck made it to the third and final round with surprising results.

I say surprising because in last year's competition they did relatively well, they won third place. First place with to Wednesday Addams and Enid Sinclair from the Wednesday TV series. And Second Place was Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime TV series.

However, this year Buck and Eddie (or Buddie as the ship is called) won first place. Second Place was Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler from the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime TV series. Third place went to Charles Rowland and Edwin Payne from the Dead Boy Detectives TV series.

Yes, this is a fandom thing where fans voted but it shouldn't go unnoticed that Buck and Eddie continue to be one of the most popular ships. Which is why I hope at some point they get a chance to go canon. I just feel that Eddie and Buck have already been written to be each other perfect love interests. It would be so disappointing to waste their amazing chemistry and dynamic storylines by never letting them be together. While continuing to put them in relationships with random and bland love interests.

Congratulations, Eddie and Buck for winning first place!
